For those relatively new to the PR industry, just out of college, or are finishing your undergraduate degree, New Pros is the group for you! Geared toward those in their first five years of the profession, New Pros provides valuable professional development programs and networking opportunities in the Greater Kansas City area.

This past year, New Pros has expanded to include current college students and local PRSSA chapters in its programming. Events are held every other month and offer the chance to meet fellow students or those early in their PR career as while hearing from those established pros who remember what it’s like to be in your shoes.

Join Us for Our September Event: a tour of The Kansas City Star Press Pavilion

The Kansas City Star now boasts one of the most modern newspaper plants in the world. The new Press Pavilion, located just northeast of the main Star building, is two city blocks long with more than 420,000 square feet, within four different levels. the eight-story building houses four 68-foot-tall, ultra-modern Commander presses.

The tour will be followed by a networking hour at JP Wine Bar.
