June 2016

Happy June GKC-PRSA members! School is out and the temperatures are up, but it’s no time to get bogged down in the early dog days of summer. View this month’s video to learn how to maximize your energy in the office, a NEW late deadline for your PRISM entries, and a sneak preview of our July programming. Plus, save the date for Oct. 21, when we bring back our PRSSA Summit event, to be held and the downtown K.C. public library.

Also, we still have 8 students and professionals looking for a PR mentor. For an easy and time-friendly way to give back to the profession, contact Gina Meagher to get started.

Finally, next month we will be rolling out a new version of our newsletter that better presents our brand, but most importantly makes it easier to find the information you need.

Keep your feedback and ideas coming, as we strive to be the professional resource and advocate for Kansas City’s PR and Communications community. As always, visit us every day online at TwitterFacebook, and Instagram for the latest updates or we’ll see you at one of our events in person. Members are also able to join our LinkedIn group for additional professional development information.

Thank you and have a great June!
