National PRSA Dues

New Members

New members are required to pay an initiation fee of $65 and annual dues of $267.

Current Members

Renewal dues for current members are $267. (GKC-PRSA's local Chapter annual dues are $60 for PRSA members.)

Associate Members

Associate Member 1

Less than one year of experience:
Join as an Associate Member 1
$122 annual dues

Associate Member 2

One to two years of experience:
Join as an Associate Member 2 
$162 annual dues

Associate Member 3

Two to three years of experience:
Join as an Associate Member 3
$207 annual dues

Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate

Former PRSSA member who graduated within the past two years:
Join as an Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate
$67 annual dues

Associate Member, Graduate Student

Full-time graduate student pursuing an advanced degree:
Join as an Associate Member, Graduate Student
$67 annual dues

Reinstating Member

If you are a former PRSA member, join as a Reinstating Member ($267 annual dues plus a one-time $35 reinstatement fee). Contact us for more information.

Group Membership

If you have five or more members
Sign up for a Group Membership.

Retired

If you have been a member in good standing for at least five years, you may qualify for Retirement Status ($57 annual dues). Retired Membership is open to any General Member in good standing who (i) has been a member of the Society for at least five years; and (ii) has retired from the full-time practice of public relations or communication and is employed less than 50 percent of the time. Members Emeriti

PRSA honors and respects the loyalty of our long-term members, who have served the profession with distinction. Emeritus Membership is open to any individual who has been a General Member for 50 or more years. Emeritus Membership is an honorary privilege that may be revoked at any time at the sole discretion of the Board.

Professional Interest Sections

For additional learning, networking and leadership opportunities, participate in Professional Interest Sections, which are specialized communities organized around industry verticals, and tenure for our next generation of professionals. They offer specialized content, such as an exclusive online community, newsletters, webinars and annual events.

Industry Partner

Hardship Program

You may qualify for the Hardship Program if you’ve been a member for three or more years and are unemployed or temporarily disabled. To participate, download the Hardship-Plan-Application.

Local Dues

GKC-PRSA's local Chapter annual dues are $60 for PRSA members, $35 for Associate Member, PRSSA graduates, $35 for other Associate Members: $35 and $20 for retired members. To join the local chapter, applicants must be a member of the national organization.
